The Warrior Group Unveiled
The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and presented the initial group of adventurers who will branch out from the central cast to embark on their separate journey, apart from the other two tables.
The Soldiers table features the determined fighter (brought to life by Travis), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (the actor).
Why Split the Party?
With 13 cast members, it was evident from the start that keeping everyone at the same party would be impossible.
That’s why, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Overture, connecting the personal journeys before splitting into three smaller tables: Warriors, Strategists, and Explorers.
What Defines the Combat Party
As described by the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven narrative style where peaceful solutions are scarce.
Initially, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might appear mismatched, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.
Reasons to Leave
For one thing, the team knows exactly where to proceed after a intense opening clash with The Crow Keepers.
A former ally of Thjazi—whose demise initiated the story’s plot—exploited the foes for his selfish purposes, invading Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the rogue, and taking all the powerful objects to auction.
The antagonist then paid off his debts and fled to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the city, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

- However, their position as key figures in House Halovar could assist the team enter areas they normally couldn’t.
